Wed, 20 August 2008 Tyler scrounges together the audio that didn't implode when his recorder failed him to bring an account of the behind-the-scenes hilarity that made Otakon awesome this year. Also appearing here and there. in this episode with Tyler and Mike are Gerald Rathkolb, Daryl Surat, and Kara Dennison. Let's do this. Oh, and a shoutout to the Japanator crew, who I hung out with a couple times during the con, and who I was with for the EPIC late-night Bandai panel in which memories were made and serafuku were worn. Big props to Lucas Park, the musician behind Rangercast's brand new opening theme. WOOT. Here's the only video I really shot at the con. They're reading a letter from Baltimore mayor Sheila Dixon. As both a Charm City native and an otaku, the whole thing just made me laugh my ass off. Also, here's a Youtube video that man was not meant to see... Who the hell are those guys up there? >_> And I leave you with this epic moment of win. Next time on Rangercast: Episode 100, marking three years of kicking ass. It's gonna be a hell of a party. Edit: If this episode sounds like it was mixed *really* quiet, I know. I can't for the life of me figure out why, but I think I need to give Garage Band a good kick. Sorry about that.
